- ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Help for Game ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
-
- Scramble is a simple game of logic in which you are required to solve a puzzle
- by moving squares into their required position.
-
- Use the options on the Game menu to select one of the following:
-
- o selecting a level
- o resetting the game
- o scrambling the pieces

- ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.1. Help for Level ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
-
- Scramble provides three different difficulty levels of play:
-
- o Easy
- o Medium
- o Difficult
-
- Each level is played in the same way and requires the squares to be positioned
- in their correct sequence. Depending on the level selected, the image contained
- within each square will provide clues as to the square's final position.
-
- In the Easy level, each square is numbered from 1 to 15, which makes it easy to
- determine where each square must be placed.
-
- In the Medium and Difficult levels, each square combines together to form a
- pattern. The final pattern can only be positioned one way, but clues in each
- square which help determine their final position are more obscure, depending on
- the level selected.
-
-
- ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.2. Help for Reset ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
-
- Selecting the Reset menu option will abort the current game and put each of the
- squares in their final position.
-
- You can use this menu option to see what the final image looks like, but you
- cannot be credited for winning a game if the pieces have been reset. To solve a
- puzzle, you must first scramble the pieces.
-
-
- ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1.3. Help for Scramble ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
-
- The Scramble menu option causes all of the squares to be placed in a random
- position. When a game is first started, all of the pieces are placed in their
- final position. You should select the Scramble menu option and then attempt to
- solve the game.
-
- At any stage of the game, you may either re-scramble the squares, or select the
- Reset menu option to get the computer to solve it for you.
-
-
- ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Object of the game ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
-
- The object of the game is to position all of the puzzle pieces in their final
- positions.
-
- If a square may be moved (according to the game rules), the mouse pointer will
- change to an arrow indicating that the square may be moved. Left click with the
- mouse on a square showing this arrow and the square will be moved into the
- empty space.
-
- In this manner, each square is to be moved so that the resulting pattern of
- squares forms the final pattern appropriate for the selected difficulty level.
-
-
- ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3. Rules of the game ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
-
- The Scramble puzzle is quite easy to play.
-
- o Each game should begin with the user selecting the Scramble menu option to
- scramble the puzzle pieces.
-
- o Only one square may be moved at a time.
-
- o A square can only be moved into an empty position.
-
- o All the squares must be in their final position for the puzzle to be solved.
-
- o You cannot use the Reset menu option during a game and expect to be credited
- for solving the puzzle.
-
-
